Wow! Now wouldn't that be something? Many of my readers, family members, and supporters are waiting for the day that MARUPA: The Legend of the Black Pearl will be made into a movie.

At present I have already registered MARUPA: The Legend of the Black Pearl with the Writers Guild of America. I am contacting, via e-mail and mailings, various entities that are involved with the production, or representation of clients in the movie industry. So far the responses have been good. Some of them have asked me to send them a copy of the novel for them to review!

My thoughts are for it to be made into an animated movie, but there are other alternatives in the movie industry. I cannot begin to tell you the amount of people that have read MARUPA: The Legend of the Black Pearl and have told me that as they were reading the story, they could actually visualize it as an animated movie. This really confirms the writing of the story since I wrote it imagining it being on the big screen as an animated movie!

One interesting note in this possibility is being able to utilize one of my other interests. When I wrote MARUPA: The Legend of the Black Pearl, I purposely inserted verbiage into the text from songs that I have written that will fit into the movie perfectly. There are seven songs that I have written, to be inserted into certain scenes of the movie. It would be a dream come true, not only see MARUPA: The Legend of the Black Pearl in the movie theatres, but to also hear some of my songs that have been inserted into the movie.

I am a firm believer in having dreams and keeping the faith. I do believe that all of this will happen and I look forward to that day! Keep this idea in your prayers for me. Thank you!

If you check out my publisher's web site at www.1stbooks.com and look at the article listing the top 100 sellers for the 4th quarter, you will note that MARUPA is listed as number 55 on their list!!! Keep in mind that this company has over 500,000 published and for sale on their site!
